This page explains what information OST Automation receives when you visit this website or get in touch, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, and we only use it to reply to you.
What we receive
When you use our contact form. We receive your name, email address, business name (if you add it), the services you're interested in, and your message.
When you email or message us. If you email us or message us on Instagram, we receive whatever you choose to send, usually your name, your email address or username, and details about your project.
When you visit the site. This website has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically handles basic technical details, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and talk about your project.
- To prepare a quote and, if we work together, to deliver the project.
We never sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.
Who else sees it
Only the services we use to run the business: our website host (Netlify), which also receives contact form messages and filters out spam; our email provider; and Instagram if you message us there.
How long we keep it
If we don't end up working together, we delete your messages within 24 months. If we do, we keep project records only for as long as we need them.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or any tracking tools.
Other websites
Links to other sites, such as Vitals or our Instagram page, take you to pages with their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Just email contact@ostautomation.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
Changes
If anything changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
